Schools and Colleges
Combatting coastal erosion by slowing climate change

We’re huge fans of all things ecological and geographical at Sussex Boat Trips.  We aim to provide a fantastic platform on which to offer the most exciting and informative lessons on coastal erosion and wind powered renewable energy sources in East Sussex.

Coupled with the amazing work taking place in our region’s schools and colleges, we’d love to help provide a practical element to those lessons.  We’ve the backing of Lewes District Council and hope to develop our teaching programmes in the very near future.

Please do get in touch via our contacts page if you feel that we can be of help in the short term.  We’ll be sure to post more when our specific educational programmes are up and running.

Corporate Team Building
Impacting change within the outdoors

Are you and your team in need of motivation after long periods apart?  Do they simply need a thoroughly enjoyable day out to remind them what life’s all about after lockdown?  Why not treat them to a fabulous experience away from the office and distanced from the world’s new normal?

At Sussex Boat Trips our emphasis is on enjoyment but in an environment controlled in so many differing ways.  Allow us to organise your time on the water from simple sightseeing tours to full days along the coast.

We can arrange to take you and your colleagues for lunch in either Brighton or Eastbourne marinas, informative tours of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm or simply messing about on the water for an hour or two.

Just drop us a line as to what you’d like to do and we’ll make it happen.  Why not end your day of exhilaration with a relaxing tour of the nearby Rathfinny Wine Estate.  Now there’s an idea..!

Interest Groups
Catering for every eventuality

Ornithologists, military historians, conservationists and photographers can all benefit from of our regular boat trips, be it our one hour or longer two hours voyages.  However, why not charter the boat as a whole so that you can take advantage of having sole occupancy?  We’ll happily be guided by you as to how we can best be of help and what you would like to see.

You’ll also be benefitting from our cheapest rates as it could cost as little as £25 per person for an hour out on the water if you fill all 12 seats.

Simply book a skippered private charter for either one, three or six hours via our booking page at a date and time to suit you and your friends.  Bookings can be made several months in advance so there’s plenty of time to get everyone organised.

If you’re unsure as to the specifics of your request at this time, simply get in touch via our contacts page and we can help plan your group’s adventure with you.

Stag Parties and Hen Groups
Something a little different if visiting Brighton

Brighton has always been and will always be one of the most popular destinations for Stag and Hen parties.  If you’re looking for something extraordinary to do during your stay, why not join us for an hour or so on the water?

Based just 20 minutes from the bustling city centre, we’re easily accessible via bus leaving Brighton at several times each hour.  Alternatively, we can happily organise private transport from your accommodation to our location here in Newhaven Marina.

One of our standard boat trips encompasses the sights and sounds of the Brighton seafront.  Why not experience the city in a whole new way by exploring it from the sea?

If chartering the boat privately, a group of 12 can have a fantastic hour on the water for just £25 per person.

Simply book a skippered private charter for one hour via our booking page for when you’re visiting the area.  Bookings can be made several months in advance so there’s plenty of time to plan the rest of your stay.
